Eden Charles

Eden has 26 years' consultancy experience. He has a passion for success and the ability to make it a reality. He is an innovative, challenging thinker whose personal style enables him to work alongside his clients through the difficult issues they face.

Eden's experience includes:

  • Being a member of the management and tutorial team for the Roffey Park/Sussex University MBA and for the Roffey Park/Salford University MSc in Management Development focussing on consultancy skills, strategic change, and self and team development.
  • Coach and consultant to leaders of a variety of multinational organisations all over the world, including the armed forces, NGOs, local government, the police force, the NHS, financial institutions, the oil industry, and education.
  • Regular work in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America with businesses and NGOs increasing the capacity of the organisations and management with experience at working within the political and cultural diversity that exists on a global scale.

Eden says of himself:
"In all of my work, I try to bring the wisdom and voices of excluded individuals, peoples and paradigms from around the world, into the awareness and strategies of those who determine the direction of change. I hold a strong personal value about our ability, as human beings, to create societies and organisations 'fit to house the human spirit'."

Key projects in Eden's wide portfolio include:

  • Leading an Action Research project with a major pharmaceutical company to increase the diversity of their organisation.
  • Co-designing, managing and facilitating a Self-Development Programme for chief executives of housing assocations.
  • Running Diversity Programmes for major multinational banks.
  • Helping a multinational organisation design their international Diversity Strategy.
  • Designing and developing Positive Action training programmes for black and ethnic minority managers and people with disabilities. Two of these are on a national level and ongoing.
  • Working and designing New Recruitment Thinking and the associated processes for a major Government Department.
