Jackie Draper

BA, Dip C.G., Dip Action Research, Dip SML

Jackie has many years of multi-sectoral experience as a consultant and has been a senior manager in the public sector and an occupational advisory service. She brings a combination of proficiencies drawn from her operational service experience, policy background and a commitment to public service values.

Her expertise lies in the fields of organisation development, executive coaching, diversity and management development in the context of change.

Jackie’s clients have included the NHS, financial services, telecommunications, local authorities and the Civil Service. Jackie has worked at Roffey Park Management Institute and the Open University Business School. Jackie employs a range of perspectives, particularly those approaches that originate from Action Research disciplines, and she is qualified to use psychometrics. Her focus is to design learning initiatives that promote sustainable change at the business, team and personal levels.

Jackie’s achievements include:

  • Designing and leading a diversity programme for minority ethnic local authority managers to progress to senior management – including a collaborative development centre, training programme, individual coaching and project support. The project work has led to major new high profile community initiatives supported by the Chief Executive and Members. This resulted in diversity team development for the chief executive and his management team to progress a diversity agenda in all corporate strategy.
  • Leading an organisation change initiative in a growing architectural practice to develop Associates for promotion to partnership.
  • Providing coaching to a number of executives in a financial services company on an ongoing basis. Jackie has helped managers give greater meaning to their leadership style, increase their profiles in a highly competitive environment and act with greater authority in external negotiations. Jackie has also acted as a coach to executives across all sectors and she has developed many individuals to realise their potential and act as powerful role models and leaders in their organisations.
